Coca-Cola also has exclusivebottlers all throughout the world and produces numerous unique drinks, bothsoda and otherwise.John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in 1886. A pharmacist in Columbus, Pembertonwas searching not for a delicious drink but for a replacement for morphine. Heoriginally invented French Wine Coca, a nerve tonic, but once Georgia embracedprohibition he redeveloped the tonic to exclude alcohol.
